I am always looking for new recipes to feed my family. It seems to me that I am missing out on a lot of great food because my family (husband and kids) don't like Sour Cream, Mustard and Mushrooms. Can anyone suggest some substitutions for these items when they come up? I am not a creative cooker but I can follow a recipe. Please Help! Confused

My husband is also picky, he doesn't like mushrooms, and many other vegetables Frowner I love the floavor of mushrooms, and the health benefits from them. So with mushrooms ( and many oter veggies) i put them in my food processor and chop them really fine. I will then add to turkey, ground beef, sauces and so on. No one knows that they are eating the veggie they claim they don't like.
As for the sour cream, would they eat low fat plain yogurt? I can not think of any other substitue for sour cream or mustard..
