What’s the best part of the holiday season for you? Cooking for family and friends? A favorite recipe that brings back childhood memories? Share your holiday cheer.

Holidays provide the only time that it is ok for me to spend an entire day (ok, sometimes more) in my kitchen without conflicting with work, chores, bills, and the other pressures of everyday life. And to be able to share this time with family makes these events even more special. I also tend to splurge for holidays, both on buying ingredients too costly for everyday meals, and on food groups that are generally not featured in EW recipes.

But the truly best part for me is having time off from our busy daily routines so that I can spend time with my kids.
