Has anyone here figured out a way to make a healthy sausage gravy to serve with biscuits? I would normally use bulk pork sausage, and am looking for a good substitute. Thanks.

What I've done is use ground turkey and seasoned it with sausage seasoning I purchased from Penzey's. www.penzeys.com Using light olive oil or canola oil, I just brown the turkey sausage, then add flour and 1% milk to make the gravy. And for the biscuits I have used the reduced fat Bisquick, or made reduced fat biscuits from scratch.
