I am looking forward to making most of the Thanksgiving Menu featured in the current magazine. I will be making the Apple-Shallot Roasted Turkey, Cider Gravy, Cornbread Stuffing, Cherry Walnut Marmalade and possibly the brussel sprouts. I will also be making Glazed Mini Carrots and Sweet Potato Casserole from previous editions.
Anyhow, the instructions for the turkey are for a 10-12 lb turkey....How long will I need to adjust the recipe for a 17lb turkey? I am very new to turkey making and I don't want to overcook, but I also don't want to serve turkey that is not done.
