This was a hard choice for me. I waffled between quick & easy and lowfat and settled on the latter. I am also frequently on the lookout for great recipes for entertaining, as I belong to a supper club.

I also waffled between quick and easy and lowfat, and settled on lowfat. Or at least "lower" fat. Sometimes my mouth drops open when I see the high fat content of certain recipes. It definitely makes me avoid the recipe!

I also opted for lowfat, but was thinking about voting for entertaining since we like to have people over for dinner/ drinks/ appetizers, etc. I'd love to see more recipes that focus on entertaining.

I picked "Low-fat" as well, but like VeggieMom, my real interest is vegetarian recipes - I'd like to see more in EW. I don't even care about low-fat as much as just a good balance between carbs/fat/protein. Quick & Easy is good too but not my top priority.

I need an "obligatory other" category! I like recipes that are balanced between all around healthy and taste good! For myself, "low-fat" can mean many things and I can lighten recipes if I feel they are excessively 'fatty'. I don't have a need to get dinner on the table in a hurry and I don't subscribe to the low-carb craze. Everything in moderation, including moderation! Smiler

So. Obligatory other please! Big Grin

Normal people, those who are healthy and well balanced, don't become writers.

This was a tough choice... as someone with lots of health problems there is much to consider in recipe selection... No one choice is better than the rest... I consider the overall nutrition...and sometime adapt to my needs. High fiber, lower carb, low or healthy fats, and above all overall flavor to savor!!!
Take care,
Gloria

I opted for the low fat. I have to keep an eye on my cholesterol according to my doctor. To tell you the truth, I don't really like fatty foods anyway. Fast is good, as long as it's healthy.

I said low fat, as well. I would love to see more veggie recipes in the magazine along with a note about how "scary" the items are -- like the seitan for a new and never-tried taste. We generally don't entertain although we do take things to relatives houses for the holidays. Quick and easy is also great especially for the weekends. We don't have our own children although my almost 47 year old DBF can be childish when he wants to be and we do have young children in the family.

Entertaining was my choice! I can "low-fat" everywhere, but I like the gourmet side of things as well. Thanks for a great magazine.
