I recently bought this book after reading the article in Eating Well. I was very motivated and ready to try another diet after getting bored with South Beach eating.

I was a little surprised when I read the book and discovered that it's no more than the diets of old - watch your calories, exercise more, lose weight. Am I missing something insightful about it?

Unfortunately, since I'm living in Europe, it is nearly impossible for me to find as many low-fat, no-fat foods as there are in America and we, of course, use the metric system. Is there anything available from the authors of the diet that converts all of this to metric and kcals? Has this been published for the UK?
