Because I had emergency surgery for a perforated ulcer which required further surgery to correct the scar tissue from the first operation, I may not fit in.
Basically, the 2nd surgery was the Rouen-Y or more commonly known as the original bariatric weight loss surgery. I was lucky in that they only removed 1/3 of my stomach. However, I wasn't overweight. At the time I weighed 105 and was a size 4 petite.
Needless to say it's been a fight for my life to gain and maintain weight. Thankfully I'm finally up to 91 lbs from a low of 72 lbs and it's only taken 2 1/2 years to get to the 91 lbs.
Back when I was able to work I had a rather sedentary desk job and did have an overweight issue then so I can definitely empathize with how hard it is to lose unwanted weight.
I can definitely offer support to those who are trying to lose weight while balancing a family, a career and all the stress which goes along with that lifestyle.
I would like to eat more healthy where I can gain my weight back, feel better, have energy and be able to be more involved in life.
Malnourished due to 2 stomach surgeries. Sick and tired of being sick and tired. Eating more healthy will hopefully increase my energy and allow me to once again be able to participate in life.
