Hi to everyone, I am new to joining any discussion (step 1) and I feel so way out in left field. I do so want to loose weight but I just don't have the motivation. Been to the Dr. have all the permission I need, new tennis shoes, and no motivation. I tried to get to the menue planner and it was a jumbled mess. Any body else have that problem? I have loads of recipes that I collect and eat but I don't keep a record. Maby the Menue Planneer will help.
Hi Frances, I'm new also, joined tonight and my problem is similar to yours. I've dieted throughout my life and at my age now, have no motivation except I don't like the way I feel or look. Maybe we can be buddies. Good luck, suzy
Hi Suzy Yes I could use a friend to motivate me maby we can help each other. I decided this week I was going to try a baby step. Tonight I made a chopped salad of Romaine Lettuce, tomatgoes, zuchinnie, black olives, cucumber, green bell pepper, and green onions. I make my own dressing leaving out salt and sugar. My dessert was plain yogurt with blackberries. (left over from lunch)and a glass of milk. The salad was really good and filling. Of course I have a habit of craving white unsalted crackers. I ate a whold sleve with my supper. (That is my downfall). I don't like the way I look or feel either, I have no relationships outside of my family because of my weight. I did get a new hair style this week and that perked things up a bit. Hope you got a few ideas from my letter. Let me know. Frances
