Buy single-serving packages. Do this for all tempting foods—snack-size cookie or chip bags, pudding cups, fun-size candy bars. Or divide larger packages into single portions and put them in individual small plastic bags.
What are your portion-control tricks? Do you buy single-serving sizes or do you, say, but a large bag of pretzels and then divide out single servings to smaller containers?

I really like those 100cal packs. They are already devided into servings and they are only 100cals. Perfect if your on the go or needing a snack to tide you over tell dinner.

The portion control sizes are also EXCELLENT when you have kids...I have a son who would eat the whole package of snack if it wasn't portioned out. It makes it easier for both of us if a bit expensive.
