Do you have a partner or group that you exercise with? Do you workout with others at work? How does this motivate you? Does it keep you from slacking? Does it make you work out just a little bit harder?
I like exercising alone at the gym, but I like hiking and playing outside much better with others. I sometimes run outside with my boyfriend and he motivates me to run farther, faster.

I really enjoy walking with my husband. We also cross country ski together when we can get a day without our boys. As a family we down hill ski but I've been sidelined by leg problems and painful new boots. The guys still get out though. We are attempting to walk to school in the morning, before my husband goes to work, along with our children. It takes 40 minutes for a round trip. Today was accompanied by freezing rain..yuck..but we did it.
Hubby for a lot of things. Plus our aerobic group when time and weather permits me. Having someone else counting on the exercise does help keep me going. It is much harder motivating when I'm at home and can't go as it has the last few months with all our bad weather.
