I'm so very tired of it. Hardly any snow, so xx-skiing is out. But darn cold. Freezing cold! I've been baking to keep warm, but the results (I'm eating my creations!) are making my waistband become very snug. Yes, the breads, etc are whole grain and all, but I'm just not motivated to do much else.
Anyone else want to gripe? As soon as the mild breezes start I will be so happy to be outdoors I won't even think of eating. But until then, ugh. I feel like a slug.
Anyone else want to complain about something you have no control over?!?!

I wish we had one of those waving graemlins like we have on another BB I'm on.
We have TONS of snow in the mountains of Vermont, but I sprained my ankle last weekend and so xx skiing is out for me It's so very sad. And my dog has developed anxiety probs when she's in the car and it's snowing and is making my drve to work very frustrating!!!! I just want my ankle to de-swell and my dog to be happy in the car again!!!

*** waving gremlin! waving gremlin!! *** This is the best I could do.
Well, my wish was granted. The snow arrived! I spent a wonderful 2 hours skiing around, then for the next 2 days could barely walk up and down stairs--oh, my hamstrings! My glutes! And I have been exercising (albeit unenthusiastically) so I can't have been that out of shape. Luckily, the temps have been frigid and now I don't want to go out!
Carolyn, I hear you about your dog. My cat loves to go outside and run around a bit (we live on an old farm with 50+ acres) and he has been going stir crazy. I shoveled a path out to the garage and back, so I'll carry him out and then he will run back to the house. Then I will carry him out again, and he will run back. This goes on for a while, but he's still a bit nuts. Today he was on top of the wardrobe in our bedroom... I swear, if I didn't notice him he may have hopped onto my head as I walked by!
