Do you frequent pick-your-own farms? IT's strawberry season in Vermont. Our local farms are busy with berry pickers. We went 3 times last weekend and made a batch of jam, homemade ice cream, strawberry-rhubarb crisp and froze some for the winter. I'd like to get a couple more turns in before the season ends.

Next, blueberries!

I've never gone to a 'pick your own' farm in my life. Now, I don't think that my knees would stand up to all the kneeling. I may try doing something like that while on vacation cause there is a few of those farms around where we go. My sister-in-law goes quite frequently and loves it.

Our kitchen is too small to justify it! I can only hold enough fresh food for a few days, so those places lose their value. We do love going to local farmers markets, though.
