I have tried several: Tostitos natural and Santitos are good. We didn't like the Baked Tostitos (no taste) or the Doritos. I can't fine the Garcia brand where I live.

RW Garcia does has a Store Locator and even tells you which of their products are available at each store. I don't know if they're available where you live, but thought that might be helpful to you and others.

I like almost anything by Tostitos. The Baked Tostitos are a little wimpy but not that bad. Santitas has been a favorite of mine for sometime. However, they have been de-throned in favor of Cape Cod! They make a yummy veggie tortilla that has delicious seasoning. Also, the Blue Corn tortillas are really good too! Both are great for dipping.

I don't know if you will like this dip with tortillas, but I will tell you it is a fine dip. Maybe crostini would be better, but as you wish.

Also, I am going to print it, and credit it, as written. It is a no brainer to make low or no fat.

FETA CHEESE, ROASTED RED PEPPER and PINE NUT DIP

6 ounces feta cheese
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1 cup sour cream
4 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
1 roasted bell pepper, finely chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
1/4 cup pine nuts, toasted

Combine the feta, garlic, sour cream, and cream cheese in a food processor or mixer. Pulse or beat until the ingredients are just combined. Scrape the feta mixture into a bowl and stir in the red pepper and parsley. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Just before serving, spoon the dip into a serving bowl and scatter the toasted pine nuts on top.

Serve with pita chips, crackers, or crudités (veggies).

Make ahead: The dip can be made 1 day ahead. Top with the pine nuts just before serving.

Source: The Big Book of Appetizers

Note from the authors: The generous scattering of toasted pine nuts on the top of this boldly flavored dip makes it look as luxurious as it tastes!

My note: The recipe actually called for 1/4 tsp. of garlic, and I upped it to 1/2 tsp. I stirred in additional feta cheese after the original dip was processed, creating a more cheesy and textured dip. Also, I did not use the pine nuts. I used a bottled roasted red pepper, but I can also buy them per piece in my olive bar at the grocery store.

Didn't agree at all with the ranking of the Tostito's baked chips. Way too bland and dry and tasteless. But we ate them for years because it was our only option.

Until Snyder's entered the market! Yes, they have a bit of an oily feel, but that's part of the tortilla-chip-experience. To DH & me, the Snyder's is the best lowfat tortilla chip for the price. We just eat less of them since they are a bit higher in fat than the baked Tositos.

Food Should Taste Good makes a multigrain chip that I call a tortilla chip. Don't have a bag handy (ate them all of course) but they contain sesame seeds, flax seed, quinoa and several other ingredients. The website will list it. I had been getting them at Costco and then I asked a local health food store to carry them. They had them on the shelf within a week. Large, delicious and low sodium and very crispy. My favorite for sure. I've had many friends ask what brand they are when I serve them. Male and female like them. I can't have them in the house all the time. You know what I mean.
