In The Essential EatingWell Cookbook on page 260 you have a guide that lists best/caution/worst choices of seafood for safe eating. Do you have a source for this guide? I'm curious to know if there are any changes since the book came out, so it would be great to have an online source to access.
The sources listed in the issue it ran in are... Mercury: FDA Office of Seafood May 2001 report Harvest issues: Monterey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch progmram, Seafood Watch Guide by the Audobon Society. Apparently "and others" were referenced for the harvest issues, but I know that since I've been here, we primarily go with Monterey Bay and I think Audobon's pretty much on the same page.
Our fact checked recently revisted the seafood guide and found no changes.
The Monterey Bay Aquarium's website has a great downloadable wallet-sized seafood guide--it's customized by region, but there's also a national one.

Thanks, Carolyn! Checked out the Montery Bay site, there's lots of information there, plus links to other sites with information. Just what I was looking for.
