Are there any kitchen tools--electric or not--that you can't live without?

I know I'd manage, but I sure like my food processor, mini food processor (perfect for salad dressing!) and ice cream maker. I keep my ice cream maker bowl in the freezer so I can whip up a batch when the mood strikes.

My 6” chef’s knife, because it fits my hand perfectly. Microplane Zester and a wooden reamer for citrus goodness. OXO salad spinner, the large one.

My 7" Santoku knife, I use it for everything, my KitchenAid mixer for all my biscottis and cakes, my french rolling pin for my pies and cookies, my stainless bowls for breads.

If I don't love it, I don't keep it...but if I had to get down to bare essentials it would be difficult to live without my santoku knife, my mini food processor, and my slow cooker. I also use my rice cooker and electric mixer a LOT! Oh, and I must have kitchen shears, too! Smiler

Definitely my santoku knife, microplane graters, and my Le Crueset pot. I have the tomato shaped pot - I love it and use it for so many things on the stovetop and in the oven, plus it's just fun to cook in a tomato Smiler

Ooh, and I almost forgot - my Kitchen Aid mixer. Great for mixing almost anything. Plus, for my WW portion control, a digital kitchen scale.
