What a gift to see the outlandish facts about bottled water in the December issue: thank you! As a long-time reader and household subscriber to Eating Well, I took a nice long drink of Seattle tap water saluting your coverage of this important topic. The water bottling corporations, Coke, Nestlé and Pepsi in particular, are spending millions of marketing dollars turning safe, public water from a right to a luxury—paving the way for privatization of public water. I invite Eating Well readers to take the pledge to opt for tap water over bottled water at ThinkOutsideTheBottle.org. Join millions of others concerned about protecting public water and challenging corporate control of water.
