Are you able to resist your kids’ Halloween candy or do you give in to the chocolaty goodness? What are your tricks to ignore that plastic pumpkin full of candy–or how do you limit yourself to just one or two pieces?

I have a very simple method. I've always been on a tight budget, which meant we couldn't replace it if we ate it. So, we wait until Halloween day before we buy any and give it all away.

If I'm feeling nibbly at work, I'll allow myself one or two pieces of dark chocolate as an afternoon treat. Otherwise, I'll make myself some hot tea or coffee to warm my belly and fill me up. It helps me to resist the urge.
