I have recently read the benefits of "liquid splenda" (zero carbs versus its powder form, Splenda). I am wondering if anyone else knows more about this substitute for sugar. I am considering using this in the future and am looking for people who are using it already. Two common brand names are Sweetzfree and Fiberfit. Thanks!

Well, thankfully there are more and more products becoming available that are 'Sugar Free' and use Splenda as a substitute-including juices, ice cream, and even Oreos! However, it should be noted, as it is on the packaging, that sometimes consumption of these items in large amounts could have a laxative effect. So, you just have to test the waters and see which sugar free foods you like and which ones may cause diarrhea. Since everyone is different and our bodies respond differently to certain foods you may have little or no problem. Hope that helps. Smiler

Here's to eating well for life!
